YS Jagan asks officials to ensure social distance in public buses

Andhra  Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan  Reddy today held a review meeting on the status of Covid 19 in the state. The deputy  Chief Minister of the state Alla Nani,  Minister Kanna Babu, Chief Secretary of the State Neelam Sawhney, DGP Gautam  Sawang and the Special Chief Secretary of Medical, Health and Family Welfare Department of the state K. Jawahar Reddy took part in the meeting. The meeting mainly discussed about the fresh guidelines issued by the union government  to implement the fourth phase of the Lockdown.

The meeting also discussed about the issue of resumption of interstate bus services.  The meeting also discussed on how to arrange buses for those who want to travel to state from cities like Chennai, Hyderabad  and Bengaluru cities. The CM asked the officials to increase the number of buses in a gradual manner. He also asked them to not allow anybody to catch the buses in the middle of the destinations besides asking them to run the buses from bus stand to bus stand.  The CM also asked the officials to gather the details of all the passengers that use the buses as it would help the authorities to trace them easily. Jagan wanted the officials to ensure social distance in all the buses and make it mandatory for all the passengers to wear face masks.
