Congress leader Vijayashnahti offered a Golden Bonam to the goddess. Later she said that she kept the promise of presenting Golden Bonam to the deity if Telangana gets statehood. With the blessings of the goddess the people will be happy and develop in future she added.
On the other hand, the Ammavari devotees were escaped from a huge accident due to police alert. The South Zone Task Force police observed the falling of Kaman at Akkanna Madanna temple and they ran to Kaman and they catch it ensuring not to fall on the ground. The devotees ran helter skelter. The police kept the Kaman aside. The devotees heaved a sigh of relief and greeted the police for their timely action.
