Ms. Nilam Sharma has joined The Vedanya School, Flower Valley, Gurugram as Head of School, effective April 2024.
With over 30 years of experience, Nilam Sharma has worked with The Heritage Xperiential Learning Schools in Gurgaon for about 22 years .
Apart from being a founder member of the school she has worked in different capacities i.e. as Head of Primary School, Director of the Early Years and The Head of School for the campus at sector 57.
She has worked continuously towards improving the quality of education by championing an in-house teacher development program, building enriching learning spaces, and initiating community outreach programs.
In her pursuit of quality education, she has traveled and trained extensively within the country and abroad, to learn with the best in the world. She has trained with Waldorf and Expeditionary Learning Education and attended summer school in Reggio Emilia, Italy.
She also draws inspiration from the works of Sri Aurobindo, Rabindranath Tagore, Loris Malaguzzi, Jiddu Krishnamurthy and brings in a very eclectic outlook to education.
Her uniqueness lies in her ability to integrate a living and implicit curriculum that focuses on building human values & capacities.
