URBAN PARKS FOR BETTER LIVING: HARISH, INDRAKARAN

Finance Minister T Harish Rao and Forest Minister A Indrakaran Reddy today said that entire nation and the world are looking at Telangana for urban parks, increasing green cover and afforestation. 

Since Telangana is only the state to bring in an act for green cover expansion and protection. They inaugurated 36th urban park in 292 acres at Sangapur village in Sidhipet district here. 

On the occasion they attributed that four percent of green cover expansion to the vision and commitment of Chief Minister, K Chandrasekhar Rao. They exhorted the people to grow plants and protect them for better living. We have planted 230 cr saplings so far and protected 70 percent of all across the state. 

The park was developed with all facilities for people children to spend their pastime the ministers said. They claimed that the park was built at Rs 7.50 cr cost and the people can enjoy its awful environment. The ministers stated that the Chief Minister aims to provide good and green environment to make a better living. For generations to come we have to offer better non polluted areas and liveable places and not much assets they asserted. Since Delhi has poor whether and polluted environment people are living the national capital for other place. However the youngest state is doing a great job for greenery, forest cover expansion and urban parks for conducive atmosphere they said.
