UoH Employees undertake the Integrity Pledge as part of Vigilance Awareness Week 2020

The employees of the University of Hyderabad (UoH) took the ‘Integrity Pledge’ as part of the Vigilance Awareness Week2020 being observed from  October 27  to  November 2. Prof. Arun Agarwal, Pro-Vice-Chancellor- 1 and Chief Vigilance Officer, administered the Pledge to the employees in the administrative building at 11 am on  Tuesday in the presence of Prof. Appa Rao Podile, Vice-Chancellor; P Sardar Singh, Registrar and other officials.

This year the university is conducting essay writing and poster making competitions amongst students and employees in Hindi, Telugu and English. On November 2, 2020 at 10:30 am, an online lecture on “Honesty is still the Best Policy” by  Manoj Abraham,  Additional DGP, Kerala Police and alumnus of UoH, MA-Economics 1991-93 batch is also being organised and will be streamed on the University Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/uohyd.

Every year the Central Vigilance Commission has a theme for the Vigilance Awareness Week and this year’s theme is “Satark Bharat, Samriddh Bharat (Vigilant India, Prosperous India)”.
