Andhra Pradesh chief minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy today asked the officials to take steps to spare the emergency cases and delivery cases from purview ongoing lockdown. He also asked them to keep a special

Focus on cancer and dialysis patients. He asked the officials to reach out to the cancer and dialysis patients and patients emergency as soon as they called up on 104 emergency number. Reddy made these remarks while holding a review meeting on the issue of the status of corona virus in the state. Speaking on the occasion he expressed his happiness  over the increase in the number of corona  virus testings and praised the officials for their wonderful job. The officials told the CM that they had performed 6520 corona virus tests in a single day and added that they had performed 48034 tests  so far in the  state. They also told the CM that the kits imported from South Korea had received the approval of ICMR. They told the CM that the tests with the rapid testing kits would be done as per the prescribed protocol.

He said that they had so far performed 14423 tests with the rapid testing kits and added that 11543 tests were performed in the red zones of the State.  They also told the CM that 30 rapid kits tests turned out to be positive so far and added that the samples of the 30 patients were sent to PPR .
