NIMS stem cell lab boon for blood cancer patients: Etala Rajender

Health minister Etala Rajender today started stem cell laboratory in NIMS hospital in the  city here. 

Speaking on the occasion,  the minister states that the new facility is a boon for blood cancer patients.  The stem cell lab will conduct a staggering 10000 tests a day and offer flawless services to the patients.  As directed by Chief Minister,  K Chandrasekhar Rao to improve health facilities,  we are taking more measures, he added.  For the new facility we spent Rs 250 cr and this will go a long way to serve the blood cancer patients,  he said. 

On Corona pandemic, the  health minister said that they have increased tests on the same.  While there are people with symptoms and without symptoms of Corona virus.  However,  the people have to be cautious on the virus, spread,  he said.  The state government is committed to improve health sector,  hospitals in a big way. The Chief Minister has instructed officials to continue Corona tests at every doorstep. 

The same tests are now available in mandals and districts.  The city will get modern hospitals around to serve more.  Now that the Corona spread declined we will start out patient services in the hospitals,  he added.
