The newly elected mayor and deputy mayor of GHMC Gadwal Vijayalaxmi and Mothe Srilatha assumed charge today. The mayor performed all religious prayers in her Chamber on the seventh floor of the GHMC headquarters before assuming charge.
She later signed on a file pertaining to assumption of the charge. The deputy mayor also performed all religious prayers in her chamber.
