Chief Minister, K Chandrasekhar Rao today got emotional at the death of his close lieutenant and party MLA from Dubbaka, Solipeta Ramalinga Reddy.
KCR placed a wreath on the body of Ramalinga Reddy and could not control tears. The Chief Minister expressed shock at the sudden death of his close associate.
KCR consoled the family members of Ramalinga Reddy at the site. He conveyed sympathies to bereaved family members.
Reddy was a journalist and played key role in Telangana statehood movement with KCR team in the fight. He later joined the TRS and won as legislator for four times.
As TRS leaders joined Chittur village in Dubbaka segment final rites performed. Several leaders of the TRS T Harish Rao, KTR, Niranjan Reddy, MLAs Balka Suman, Kranti Kiran and others were present.
