Jana Reddy urges party cadres to control themselves on Social Media

Former minister Jana Reddy pays tribute to Naini

Former Minister and Veteran Congress leader K. Jana Reddy today urged the party leaders and cadres to exercise restrain while posting content on Social Media. He said that their social media posts supporting their favourite leader and criticizing their opponents would only harm the party.  He said that such social media involving sycophancy was also not good for the leaders about whom such social media posts were being published.

 Speaking to media persons, he asked the state leadership of the party to be serous about such leaders and take action against them. He warned that he would take the issue to the notice of the party high command.  He said that the party leadership should enforce a restraining policy for all the leaders of the party irrespective of their stature and status. He said that the PCC leadership should meet on the issue and take steps to control the fans and supporters of different leaders of the party. Without referring the names of any of the party leader, Jana Reddy said that all were aware of the  persons who posted criticizing messages about some leaders of the party. Referring to the party senior leader VH, he said that he was told about the verbal abuse experienced by VH in the hands of a phone caller while making it clear that such acts are not part of the party’s policy. 

He said that all party leaders should unitedly fight against such indecent acts . Targeting the state government, he asked as to why it did not fill up vacant government jobs during the last seven years of its rule He asked the state government if it was not the Congress party led state government, which filled up 4.9 lakh jobs in the undivided AP state.  He also questioned the state government on the issue of the non implementation of its poll promise of providing unemployment wage to al the unemployed eligible youth of the state and  asked as to why the scheme was no implemented in the state so far. Making it clear that several villages of the state are still not getting Mission Bhageeratha water, he dared the ruling TRS party leaders to show the provision of the Mission Bhageeratha water in the villages suggested by him.

He said that he was ready bear the cost for conducting a media tour in the villages referred by him. Jana declined to comment on the fielding of the daughter of former PM of the country PV Narasimha Rao by terming it as an internal affair of the ruling TRS party while making it clear that it was the Congress party that made PV as the PM of the country .
