Senior advocate Indu Malhotra is all set to become the first woman lawyer to be directly appointed as a Supreme Court of India judge after the central government accepted the apex court’s collegium recommendation.
Indu Malhotra specializes in arbitration and she happens to be the second woman to be appointed as the apex court’s senior advocate.
Malhotra is expected to take oath as the judge later this week.
