Die hard fan installs Pawan Kalyan’s statue at Tadepalligudem

There is an unwritten tradition in South India for fans of movie stars to display their devotion in strangest of the strangest ways. Some fans go to the extent of even building a temple to their favorite stars.

One such die-hard fan of Telugu film star and Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan has recently installed the actor’s statue in Tadepalligudem in West Godavari. The statue measures seven and a half feet in height.

Pawan’s statue displays the actor-turned-politician with a raised hand, thick beard, the actor’s favorite towel, also known as Erra Thundu in Telugu, tied to the actor’s waist and the Jana Sena Party’s Kanduva around the leader’s neck.
