Congress party has geared up for the organisation of Dalita and Girijana pandora public meeting scheduled to be held at Indravelli of Adilabad on Monday.
Speaking to media persons TPCC president A. Revanth Reddy along with AICC programs Implementation Committee Chairman Eleti Maheswar Reddy has said that the main objective behind the meeting was to highlight the injustice and fraud done to the Dalits and tribals of the State in the last seven year rule of CM KCR led state government.
He said that the public meeting would be held at 3pm on the scheduled day. He called upon the party leaders and workers to make it a grand success. He also called upon the people of the state to take part in the meeting in large numbers .
He alleged that the CM had come up with Dalit Bandhu scheme only to cheat the Dalits of the State and added that the scheme was launched to win the upcoming by-elections in Huzurabad Assembly Constituency.
He said that the protest programs would be held from August 9 to September 17. He said that the party’s National leader Rahul Gandhi would attend the protest program in the first week of the September month.
Maheswar Reddy said that they would hold four such public meetings across the state as part of the program. He said that more than one lakh people would take part in Monday’s meeting. The TPCC president also held a review meeting on the arrangements made for the public meeting along with the party leaders.
