case was registered against lyric writer Suddala Ashok Teja in Punjagutta Police Station following direction by a Court.
One Rayala Padmavathi, who stays in Dwaraka Nagar in Quthbullahpur, approached the Court alleging that managing director Kiran Kumar Reddy of Soubhagya Pavitra Bhoomi Township Private Limited at Turkapally in Yadadri-Bhongir district took money from her for giving a house plot and deceived her.
Kiran Kumar Reddy opened an office at Nagarjuna Nagar in Ameerpet in 2016 for Soubhagya Pavitra Bhoomi Township Private Limited. Suddala Ashok Teja, who was acting as the firm’s campaigner, attended the opening program and released pamphlets on the day. Rayala Padmavathi and her husband paid Rs 2 lakh for a plot purchase in the same year as Suddala Ashok Teja was acting as its campaigner.
She said Kiran Kumar Reddy was not only showing her plot but was also threatening the couple whenever they asked about the plot. The helpless couple approached the XIV Metropolitan Court and filed a petition in this regard. The Court directed the Punjagutta police to register a case against the culprits under several sections.
