Chada turns tables on Thammineni

Finding fault with CPM State secretary Thammineni Veerabhadram’s statement that CPI was indulging in “opportunistic” politics, CPI State secretary Chada Venkat Reddy has alleged that the CPM floated T-MASS and Bahujan Left Front (BLF) unilaterally without consulting CPI in the State and said it clearly shows whose politics were opportunistic.

In a pressnote here, Chada said Thammineni refused to extend support to AITUC in Singareni Collieries elections benefiting the TRS-affiliated union. The creation of BLF also does the same in the coming elections helping the TRS party indirectly. He asked the CPM, which floated BLF, to tell whether it wants to extend its support to TRS party, which destroyed democracy in the State.

Chada said the people were observing all developments clearly and opining that formation of BLF was to help the ruling TRS indirectly in the coming elections. Veerabhadram, who is describing  CPI’s efforts as opportunistic politics, was himself trying to cover his political mistake by criticizing CPI’s efforts of dethroning “dictatorial” rule in the State”, he added.
