Chaos marred the Andhra Pradesh Congress Coordination Committee meeting today when PCC member Shiva Chary tried to commit suicide by consuming pesticide. However, party activists prevented Shiva Chary from committing suicide.
Later, Shiva Chary alleged that Nellore DCC Chief Panabaka Krishnaiah made him to spend Rs 50 lakh when he contemplated to contest from Nellore rural constituency. Shiva Chary alleged that Krishnaiah kept his name aside and was planning to give priority to others. He also said that he decided to commit suicide due to harassment of Krishnaiah. APCC Affairs In-charge Omen Chandy was also present during the incident.
