The ruling YSRCP today ridiculed the rallies and protest programs being held by rival TDP and its leaders. The party MLA Kaile Anil termed the protest programs and rallies being held by the TDP and its leaders as dramas held in the villages of the state.
Targeting former Chief Minister of the state Nara Chandrababu Naidu , he termed the TDP president as the traitor of the Dalits of the state and added that Naidu had treated the Dalits as labourers.
Speaking to media persons on Assembly premises, he mocked that the comments of Naidu about the salt upliftment and development . He reminded that it was the same Naidu who once said that as to who would take birth in the SC families. He alleged that the TDP state president K. Atchanaidu had hit a a Dalit employee to R&B department of the state Kalyani with his feet. Anil made it clear that the Dalits of the state were witnessing development due to the development and welfare programs being implemented by the chief minister of the state YS Jaganmohan Reddy.
He made it clear that Jagan had not turned Dalits into slaves by constituting Janmabhoomi committees and added that the CM had brought in the system of volunteers and took the fruits of the development and welfare programs of the state to the doorsteps of the beneficiaries. He also said that the CM had also launched YSR Navasakam scheme with an objective to turn Dalits into successful industrialists and added that the CM had also brought an Act for the welfare of the SC, ST, BC and minorities of the state. He alleged that only brokers and middlemen benefited during the rule of Nara Chandrababu Naidu. Questioning the love of Naidu towards the Dalits of the state, he asked the former CM as to why his party had only one Dalit MLA.
