It seems that Vidya balan is now becoming a specialist in essaying the roles of bygone personalities. After bagging the role of NTR’s wife which she would be [ortraing, for which she completed five days of shooting, the Oh la la actress has now confirmed that she would be essaying the role of the former Prime Minister of India Indira Gandhi.
The film is based on journalist Sagarika Ghose’s book Indira: India’s Most Powerful Prime Minister.
Since there is so much material available on Indio’s first Prime Minister J Nehru’s daughter who was once called the only man in the cabinet and also has the distinction of being equated thus; ‘India is Indira, Indira is India.’ The producers have decided that it would be made into a web series as a fims would not be able to capture the whole life of Indira Gandhi.
