TTD chairman seeks land from Maha Govt for constructing Ammavari temple at Navi Mumbai

TTD chairman BR Naidu handed over a requisition over the hands of AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis seeking land towards the construction of Sri Padmavati Ammavari Temple in Navi Mumbai and a TTD Information Center at Bandra.

The handing over of the requisition letter seeking site allotment took place during the ongoing three-day International Temple Convention at Asha Convention Center in Tirupati on Monday evening. The CMs of AP, Maharashtra along with the Goa CM Pramod inaugurated the mega event and participated in the convention.

It may be mentioned here that earlier 3.61 acres of land on lease basis was allotted to TTD towards the construction of Sri Vari temple in Ulve area in Navi Mumbai.

TTD has decided to build an Ammavari temple also in another 1.5 acre land. As such, TTD sought the Maha Government to allot some land towards constructing the Ammavari temple and also some space for TTD Information Center at Bandra.
