TITA Symposium 2021 organised on grand note

TITA inks pact with University of Texas at Dallas

Telangana Information Technology Association (TITA) organized its Symposium 2021 in Hyderabad on Sunday. Chairman of TITA Advisory Council Jayesh Ranjan appreciated the Association’s Global Governing Council for taking up various schemes aimed at public welfare through digital initiatives.
TITA this time selected members of its Global Working Committee (GWC) through interviews. TSPSC former member C Vittal, TITA Advisor Sangameswar Rao conducted online interviews and selected members for GWC. The new members were also trained in leadership skills on the occasion. Also in the symposium, TITA felicitated senior journalist Sridhar Surineni on his selection as Information Officer with Indian Information Services of Union Government. Shridhar has worked with various media houses before selection as Information Officer.
Symposium 2021 organised at Westin Hotel Gachibowli began on a Grand Note with Fusion Arts troupe of Telangana Department of Language and Culture presenting an outstanding performance.
Jayesh Ranjan, the Principal Secretary of Dept of Industries and IT, Government of Telangana who was recently appointed as the Chairman of TITA Advisory Council presided over the Annual Meeting of the Association. TITA Global President Sundeep Kumar Makthala presented a special photo painting portrait to Jayesh Ranjan. The Association also felicitated senior journalist Sridhar Surineni who was selected as Information Officer with Indian Information Services.
TITA Global Governing Council members this time were selected based on interviews by TSPSC former member C Vittal, TITA Advisor Sangameshwar Rao. The Association conducted a training session for its District Secretaries on honing leadership skills.
Swartham, a film exclusively directed and acted by techies was screen at the venue. Sundeep Makthala felicitated the film crew. Also, the Association awarded Verified Badges to various companies like SlickTalks company, Kotla Group, South Africa based We Help, vidyarthi.com, The Startup Works were among those who received the batches.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal Secretary Jayesh Ranjan, praised Telangana IT Association for its relentless efforts to develop the IT sector through various initiatives for the past eight years. The Association reached out to the masses through its popular initiatives like T-Culture, Tele- Agriculture, Telangana Early Coders and digital literacy for students of government schools. Through these initiatives techies fulfill their social responsibility.
The Principal Secretary said that the government would provide space to startups if they come forward to set up their establishments in tier-2 and tier-3 cities. He urged TITA to take up initiatives with a focus to hone the skills of school and college students.
On the occasion, Jayesh Ranjan interacted with TITA representatives from 30 countries. The overseas representatives sought the help of the TS government in organising the World Telangana IT Conference to which the Principal Secretary responded positively.
Speaking on the occasion Venkatrama, a member of TS Council for Higher Education expressed happiness over the various programmes undertaken by TITA. He said that the TSCHE was willing to reach MoU with the Association.
Speaking on the occasion, TITA Global President Sundeep Kumar Makthala said techies played a key role as part of their social responsibility during Covid-19 pandemic. Techies from overseas to those in the villages and towns came up with various initiatives to help masses in various sectors like health, education, agriculture. The Association has focused on innovation this year to ensure all-round development of the State, Makthala said.
 Makthala said that to ensure smooth delivery of services, the government should provide space to TITA to set its offices at District Headquarters in districts and sought the help of Jayesh Ranjan for the same.
On the second day of the Symposium, prominent personalities from various fields attended the meet.  TITA Vice President Bojjam Rana Pratap, Ashwin Chandra Valaboju, Naveen Chintala, Governing Committee members Srikant Badiga, Goverdhan, Association Advisors, Sangameswara Rao were present.
