In view forthcoming General Elections to Telangana State Legislative Assembly 2023, Expenditure Observers, Hyderabad District appointed by the ECI for Musheerabad and Nampally Sri. Subodh Singh IRS (C&CE) and for Malakpet and Amberpet Sri.Laxmikanth Dasapppa, IRS (C&CE), for Karwan and Goshamahal Sri.Dhananjaya Singh IDAS visited GHMC Head Office, where DEO Hyderabad & Commissioner apprised the arrangements made for the Elections.
DEO explained that Flying squad, Police Checking at Check post is being done thoroughly 24 hours with shift teams. Today Rs.93,62,000 seized. The valuables and amount seized during checking which are not related to the contesting candidates and political parties will be disposed off without any hurdle by the grievances committee daily, so far Rs.27.47 Cr released said the DEO.
During the visit of Sri. Laxmikanth Dasappa , EVDM Director, Sri. Prakash Reddy, apprised the arrangements made at the Command Control Room 7th floor, GHMC Head Office, how the supervision is being done through CC cameras at Check post and liquor shops and flying squad vans with GPS system arranged in the vans. Further explained the functioning of MCMC, Suvidha counters. The observer also visited Control Room and enquired what type of complaints received and inspected the register.
