Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka has informed that Telangana is at the forefront of embracing a sustainable energy future and its Clean and Green Energy policy sets ambitious goals by adding 20,000 MW of renewable energy capacity by the year of 2030.
Speaking at a meeting with stakeholders on Telangana Clean and Green Energy Policy at HICC here on Friday, the Deputy Chief Minister said that Telangana State had emerged as a hub for the development of technology, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing and agriculture sectors.
“Taking the lead in the use of clean energy sources, Telangana has acquired 11,399 green power capacity and is moving towards achieving the target of 20,000 MW by 2030. It is also planning to make Telangana a green energy hub in the days to come,” Bhatti disclosed.
Stating that Telangana State has achieved remarkable successes in the field of green power and is standing as an example across the country, Bhatti Vikramarka said that comprehensive development plans, including AI, Future Cities, Regional Ring Road are being prepared for the development of Telangana.
“We are going to make Telangana a global pharmaceutical hub and a leader in the life sciences sector. In addition to this, the expansion of Metro Rail, airport and industrial corridor are transforming the State into a logistics powerhouse,” he disclosed.
