The Government of Uttarakhand today organized a road show in Hyderabad ahead of the ‘Destination Uttarakhand: Investors Summit’ scheduled from October 7 and 8 this year. The maiden investor summit, which will be organized at Dehradun will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Harak Singh Rawat, Minister of Forests, Labour & AYUSH, Government of Uttarakhand and Utpal Kumar Singh, Chief Secretary, Government of Uttarakhand addressed the road show. Some of the senior officials of Uttarakhand also addressed the gathering at Hyderabad.
The objective of the road show was to share the investment opportunities in Uttarakhand and to seek active participation for ‘Destination Uttarakhand-Investors Summit 2018’. The road show received encouraging response and generated interest among the investors. The delegation from Uttarakhand Government, highlighted the 12 focus sectors of the state, which include Food Processing, Horticulture & Floriculture, Herbal & Aromatic, Tourism & Hospitality, Wellness & AYUSH, Pharmaceuticals, Automobiles, Natural Fibers, IT, Renewable Energy, Biotechnology and Film Shooting.
Manisha Panwar, Principal Secretary, Industries and Amit Sinha, Director, Information Technology Development Agency (ITDA) also spoke.
