The women’s wing of TDP today held a dharna program infront of Ambedkar statue at tank bund demanding the state government to constitute a Mahila Commission in the state as soon possible. The mahila morcha president is the Party Thirunagari Jyotsna and other leaders of the party took part in the dharna program. They gave a representation to the Ambedkar statue on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Jyotsna said that it was unfortunate that there was no women’s Commission in the state since the last six years after the formation of the state . She said that it was not right for CM KCR to ignore the problems of the women’s of the state. She made it clear that they would hold agitation programs till the commission was formed in the state.
