Sudhakar Komakula, after his recent feature film release “Narayana & Co,” takes center stage in the upcoming independent music video “Memories,” produced under his home banner Sukha Media. Sudhakar made this music video as an experiment. i.e., blending real-world footage with 2D animation, completely shot in the vibrant city of San Francisco, USA. This Music video was partnered with popular Youtube Independent Music Video channel Nivriti Vibes “Memories” will be available in five languages: Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam.
Directed by the aspiring filmmaker Anvesh Bashyam, who previously worked as a concept writer for the SIIMA-nominated short film “Chotu” and as an additional writer and Executive Producer for the musical short film “Manoharam” released by Sony Music South, “Memories” narrates the story of Varun. Through a nostalgic journey down memory lane, the video captures Varun’s transformation from a state of feeling lost to finding his purpose and destination. The unique blend of real world with 2D animation character Jessica is first of its kind and very well done. The music, visuals, concept and animation is contemporary and very good.
The soulful song, composed by Arun Chandrashekaran, is complemented by the enchanting vocals of the vibrant singer Rahul Sipligunj in Telugu, Vasuki Vaibhav in Kannada, Susa in Tamil, Arjun Vijay in Malayalam, Ritesh G Rao in Hindi delivering an immersive audio visual experience. Additionally, the video features a simple hook step that invites everyone to join in and dance along.
With Sudhakar Komakula leading the way and producing this project, “Memories” promises to leave audiences entertained across diverse backgrounds. This melodious music video aims to evoke a sense of nostalgia and instill an appreciation for life’s transformative journey. Video released on “Memories” on Nivriti Vibes YouTube channel. They bagged the song rights for a fancy price.
