A new angle came to light in sports quota medical seats scam. Telangana Judo Association general secretary Kailasam Yadav had settled the deal with Rs.4 lakh assuring that he will provide a sports certificate that ensures medical seat in sports quota. Thota Sunil Kumar from Warangal paid Rs.2 lakh to Kailasam Yadav for the medical seat to his son in sports quota.
Thota Sunil Kumar has approached Anti-Corruption Bureau after the scam came to light. Subsequently, ACB sleuths conducted raids at Kailasam Yadav’s residence in Warangal and Judo Association’s office located in LB Stadium in Hyderabad.
