BJP MLC in Andhra Pradesh P V N Madhav expressed the hope that the centre would soon grant Railway zone in the state making this steel city as its headquarters.
Speaking to media at party office here Madhav said the state leaders have met home minister Rajnath Singh and railway minister Piyush Goyal recently and demanded sanction of railway zone as soon as possible. He said even party president Amit Shah also written letter in this regard.
The MLC said that the PMO is working on this issue and soon the centre would provide railway zone in Visakhapatam, he said.
Madhav condemned the comments of TDP leaders against Rajyasabha member G V L Narasimha Rao.
