Back in October, teenage sensation, Prithvi Shaw forayed into international cricket with a sparkling century against visiting team Windies in the opening Test match in Rajkot. He followed it up with another impressive half-century in Hyderabad.
The performances against the Caribbean team ensured that the Thane-born batsman gets picked for the four-match Test series against Australia. The pitches in Australia are expected to possess more carry and bounce than the Indian tracks and hence, Shaw is likely to encounter a sterner test.
In a bid to get himself prepared, Shaw recently practised with master blaster Sachin Tendulkar, who shared a few tips about batting in Australia and gave him throwdowns, at the MIG Cricket Club in Mumbai, the very place where Sachin runs an Academy.
