Pilgrims satisfied over  arrangements of Darshan

The pilgrims are expressing immense satisfaction over the arrangements of Darshan made by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams ,(TTD) by strictly following COVID 19 guidelines at Tirumala, said TTD EO  Anil Kumar Singhal.

After the monthly Dial your EO held at Conference Hall in TTD administrative building in Tirupati, EO  Anil Kumar Singhal briefed media on the darshan and other details of the pilgrims ever since TTD resumed darshan of Lord Venkateswara for pilgrims after lockdown from June 11 onwards. 

The EO said tests are being carried out on employees at Alipiri and Tirumala while for pilgrims at Alipiri by taking random samples every day .

Among the two dozen pilgrim callers who dialled up  Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) EO  Anil Kumar Singhal as a part of the monthly Dial Your EO Programme held at the Conference Hall in TTD Administrative Building first time ever on Sunday, most of them complimented and thanked TTD for telecasting live Sundarakanda Pathanam and Veda Parayanam on Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel (SVBC).

Pilgrim callers, Padmavathi from Hyderabad,  Madhavi Latha and  Ramana from Bengaluru, Suguna,  Ramamurthy from Vijayawada,  Kalpana Devi from Palakkad of Kerala,  Vijaya from Visakhapatnam,  Koteswara Rao from Guntur all poured in laurels on TTD for telecasting the Parayanam programme live on SVBC during the Corona COVID -19 high time. They also appreciated TTD scholars,  Kuppa Venkata Siva Subrahmanya Avadhani and Dr A Vibhishana Sharma for taking the programme forward in the most successful manner.

Answering the callers, the EO said, the Sundarakanda Pathanam and Veda Parayanam programme have been commenced under the supervision of Tirumala Additional EO who is also heading SVBC with an aim to ward off the dreadful disease which is bothering the entire humanity. “These programmes have enhanced the popularity of SVBC as nearly 6.5crore pilgrims are watching the programme across the world which includes over one crore in two Telugu states itself”, he added.

 Naveen Kumar from Guntakal sought EO to continue the programme “Samskritam Nerchukundam” on SVBC while another devotee  Srinivas from Tandur sought EO to relay “Govinda Mala” to which the EO said, the concerned will take necessary action.

To the query of pilgrim caller  Srinivas from Hyderabad who sought EO that they have a family tradition of sorting out issues at Tarigonda Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple of TTD. But in view of the prevailing corona restrictions, the temple authorities have not issued them tickets to do the same. Reacting to the query EO said, the issue will be discussed with the concerned officials.

When one  Venkataramana from Kadapa brought to the notice of EO that they have cancelled their Kalyanam ticket which was booked on May 11 in online in view of COVID restrictions but so far not received the refund from TTD, EO replied that he will instruct the concerned authorities to immediately sort our the issue as the refund should be done for the cancellations upto May has to be refunded within 72hours. EO also told callers,  Balaji and  Rambabu from Hyderabad that the concerned officials will contact the pilgrim callers over their refund queries and sort out the issues.

Answering callers  Krishna from Hyderabad and  Seenu from Vijayanagaram, the EO said, in view of existing COVID guidelines prescribed by Central and State Governments, pilgrims who are aged below 10years and above 65years are not permitted for Srivari darshan.

Nagamani and  Lohit from Tirupati, Indrani from Bapatla, complimented TTD for making excellent arrangements of darshan for pilgrims following the COVID guidelines. Responding to the callers, the EO also thanked the pilgrims for co-operating with TTD management in strictly observing the guidelines while coming for darshan of Lord Venkateswara.

Tirupati JEO  P Basant Kumar, JEO Health and Education  Bhargavi, CVSO  Gopinath Jatti, CE  Ramesh Reddy and other HoDs were also present.
