Paintings of 80-year-old Indian tribal woman on exhibit in Italy

The paintings made by an 80-year-old tribal woman of Umaria district of Madhya Pradesh are now being showcased at the ongoing exhibition in Italy. Paintings of Jodhaiya Bai Baiga are showcased at Milan which is the global capital of fashion and design. She hails from Umaria district’s Lorha village of the state. While speaking to media, Jodhaiya Bai’s teacher Ashish Swami said, “She has to achieve many more milestones now.It is a little late but better late than never.”
