Nagarjuna Sagar has become more beautiful with a panoramic sight of gushing waters. One lakh cusecs of flood water are flowing into Nagarjuna Sagar. Officials of Irrigation department said that all the gates of Nagarjuna Sagar are going to be opened by tomorrow as heavy flood water is reaching from upper areas. The water level in Sagar is going to touch the highest 590-ft mark of its full capacity by tomorrow. Officials of Pulichintala Project in Nalgonda, Guntur and Krishna districts became alert keeping in view of the lifting of gates in Sagar. Precautions are being taken by the officials to evacuate people from low lying areas to safer places.
