Municipal Minister K T Rama Rao today appreciated Telangana HUDCO and other officials for clinching national level award from the centre for its flagship two bedrooms housing program.
The centre has offered the HUDCO best practice award to Telangana state for its prestigious double bedroom house program for the poor for self respect.
Principal Secretary Arvind Kumar, GHMC chief Lokesh Kumar, Housing OSD Suresh Kumar have called on the minister at Pragati Bhavan.
They apprised the minister of the National award for state housing program. KTR has appreciated them for coordinated efforts to provide the housing for the poor.
The government spends Rs 8598 cr to build 1 lakh housing units free of cost for the poor. The houses are being built with modern technology, and facilities on the lines of gated community.
