KCR promises better salaries to medical staff

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today called upon people to take Corona treatment in government hospitals instead of private hospitals and spend huge amounts for the treatment as the required medical treatment for the Virus is very much available in the government Hospitals.. He asked them to avoid panic on Corona pandemic also negligence.   The government doctors and staff are well equipped to treat any number of patients. The Chief Minister thanked the medical doctors, staff for extending their excellent services to contain the virus’ spread and offering good treatment to the patients.
 
 In a high level review meeting at Pragati Bhavan with Health Minister Rajender and officials he said to  give UGC scales to and increase salaries to nurses and announced some sops.  Corona is across the world and country and not born in our state. The people have to make a living with corona and business as usual as the unlock 2 is going on across the country.  State government has allotted  Rs 100 cr additional to general budget to tackle corona cases,  he said. Out of 41018 cases 67 percent of 27295 patients recovered and 9636 are bring treated and the rest are in home quarantine.  Now there is no shortage of anything. In Gandhi and TIMS hospitals, 3000 beds are ready with Oxygen supply facilitates in Hyderabad alone.  

From PHC to district and state level 10000 beds, available,  5000 oxygen facility beds including 3000 in Gandhi Hospital and TIMS are available and 1500 ventilators for people. He asked the people to make use if efficient services in the government hospitals by getting tested with symptoms. Be brave and avoid panic on the virus which can be cured he said. 
KCR asked the officials for steps to appoint 1200 post graduate medical students,  200 doctors for PHCs,  increase salaries to new nurses on par with old nurses,  10 percent covid incentive to medical staff,  age 63 years for Aayush teachers, and put adequate sticks of injections and tablets for and give free,  hospitals should display beds and patient details. 
            Medical and Health Minister  Etela Rajender, Panchayat Raj Minister  Errabelli Dayakar Rao, Chief Secretary  Somesh Kumar, Principal Secretary (Medical and Health)  Murtuza Rizvi, Medical and Health Heads of different departments  Karunakar Reddy,  Ramesh Reddy,  Srinivas,  Gangadhar,  Chandrasekhar
Reddy, CMO Principal Secretary  S Narsing Rao, Special Secretary  Rajasekhar Reddy and others participated. In this context, the CM made several suggestions. The CM has taken several decisions with regard to medical and Health department.
