Every year, International Women’s Day is celebrated on 8th March. The purpose behind celebrating Women’s Day worldwide is to recognize the contribution of women in the development of society.
The theme for International Women’s Day 2022 given by the United Nations is ‘Gender Equality Today for a Sustainable Tomorrow.’ This theme is meant to raise awareness about the importance of gender parity in everything, including participation in decision-making and taking up leadership roles in businesses.
Gender equality and the participation of women is crucial as it helps to boost the Economy, increase the productivity of businesses, and most importantly, create future leaders who can take the industry ahead.
