Indigo Flight skids at Gannavaram airport :
Another ill-fated IndiGo flight from Bengaluru is reported to have skidded off the runway while landing at the Gannavaram airport in Vijayawada.
Airport authorities said the plane’s tail bumper received minor damage. However, all the passengers were said to be safe, they said.
Meanwhile, IndiGo officials said a skid on the tail bumper is generally acceptable under ATR operational envelope.
As there was no need for any maintenance, the aircraft was cleared for operations after inspection.
