The Institution of Engineers (India) (IEI), Telangana State Centre was organized Popular Lecture on “TIME MANAGEMENT” on today through “Zoom Cloud Meeting APP”.
The Speaker Dr S Satyanarayana, FIE, IMM. Past Chairman, IEI, Telangana State Centre. During his lecture he explained the most common difficulty besetting the modern, educated, and experienced business persons generally is the inability to cope with the problems of Time Management and balancing both office and personal life. They are upset with problems both in the business and personal life. One of the reasons is, not fully understanding the value of time and improper planning of time. Time Management is an active tool for business people who want to become more effective users of time in their business and personal life. Good time management allows you to accomplish more in a shorter period of time, which leads to more free time, which lets you take advantage of learning opportunities, lowers your stress, and helps you focus, which leads to more career success. Each benefit of time management improves another aspect of your life.
Today’s Lecture on Time Management focuses on understanding the value of time, goal setting and fixing time horizons, planning for short, medium and long term projects, setting deadlines, avoiding procrastination, the telephone/ mobile discipline, effectively organising the meetings , ways and means of delegation etc., The lecture has been structured keeping the young entrepreneurs in mind, so that they improve their “Effectiveness Quotient” and become an enlightened consumer of time without sacrificing their personal life.
