Govt to set up theme parks at Ramappa temple

The State government has announced that it would set up theme parks and convention Center and water adventure sports at the world famous Ramappa temple. State Tourism Minister V. Srinivas Goud said that the UNESCO has accorded world heritage structure status on August 25 of this year. He made these remarks while replying to questions raised by the members of Telangana assembly during a question and answer session.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that the Structure was under the control of Archeological survey of India (ASI). He said that the state government had built 16 cottages and restaurants for the convenience of the tourists at the Ramappa temple . He said that the according of the world heritage structure status on the temple would attract a lot of foreign tourists to the temple . He said that they were  developing  all the tourism spots near the Ramappa temple by building guest houses and restaurants at a cost of ₹7 crore and added that their construction was at last stage of completion . He said that importance was began to be given all historical sites in the country after the formation of Telangana state . He said that the state government was developing the tourism sector of the state under the leadership of CM KCR.
