Govt failed in public health sector; alleges Vamshichand Reddy

AICC Secretary Ch. Vamshichand Reddy today alleged that the state government had grossly failed in the public sector of the state.

Speaking to media persons, he alleged that there was no supervision on the private hospitals of the state government and added that the people had lost faith in the government hospitals of the state.  He also alleged that the TRS led state government had not opened even a single PHC after coming into power and added that there was a need to construct 60 PHCs and 125 community health Centers in the state. Reddy reminded that the apex court of the state had warned the s government about its negligence of the public health sector in the year 2018.

He said that the directorate of medical education has 70 percent of vacancies and added that 40 percent of the vacant posts in the PHCs, community health Centers area hospitals and district hospitals of the state.
