Govt failed in containing corona virus, alleges Vamshichand Reddy

AICC secretary and former MLA of the party Ch. Vamshichand Reddy today alleged that the state government had failed in containing the spread of corona virus in Telangana. He also alleged that the failure of the state government had reflected in all sectors of the state.

Addressing media persons at Gandhi Bhavan, he raised the issue of the deferment of salaries of government employees and added that the government employees were working for half of their salaries since the last three months in the state. Referring to the statement of the state government that it was using the meant for the salaries of the employees to pay debts, he said that there was nothing more shameful than the statement of the state government. He said that the decision of the state government had forced 4 lakh government employees and 1 lakh pensioners to suffer from financial problems. He demanded CM KCR to tender apology to the employees of the state for his wrong decision. He asked the state if Telangana was more backward than states like BIhar, AP and Chattisgarh. 

 He alleged that the TRS party leaders had brought borrowed more money than the actual capacity of the state to earn their commissions. He claimed that the state government was taking loans for 9 to 11 percent interest rates.  He said that the state government was in financial crisis as its all budget was going towards making the payments of its debts.  He said that the state would have a debt burden of Rs.2.3 lakh crore by the end of Rs.2.30 lakh crore.
