TRS leader Bajireddy Govardhan today took oath as the TSRTC Chairman in the city here. Panchayat Raj Minister E Dayakar Rao greeted Bajireddy Goverdhan to steer the RTC to make benefits. The minister while extending greetings to the new chairman hoped that the TRSRTC which faced some problems and financial issues recently due to the corona pandemic will be free soon. Goverdhan will lead the TSRTC to a new high to get more benefits, the minister said. The Minister said that the chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is offering necessary support and monetary help towards the RTC welfare. Its employees are getting timely salaries and resumption of the buses after dip in corona cases will boost its income,he said. Goverdhan later extended thanks to the chief minister for the post. I will work as per KCR directions to see that the RTC is on a benefit making track, he added.
TSRTC MD Sajjannar said that efforts should be made to get more income and benefits through more buses to people for safe journeys. Welfare of the RTC employees is key as we focus on income generation, he said.
