As we are aware that, e-learning course on SWM has been launched by Honorable Mayor Mr. Bonthu Rammohan, on 31/07/2018, all the GHMC officials have completed the course and now open to public in GHMC web site so public can register and complete the e-learning course on SWM.
This course aims to educate and create awareness to citizens, The course is developed by an organization called Swift e-learning services in collaboration with GHMC. During the launch Mr Bonthu Rammohan said that the course gives good insights in to the activities handled by GHMC and asked citizens to go through it to get exposure on various sanitation and SBM activities in the city.
“The course will be available for general public. They can avail this course to get exposure on Solid waste management and sanitation activities handled by GHMC. It is the responsibility of every citizen to be aware about the importance of proper solid waste managment and act responsibly towards the same.
This course is designed to effectively explain the importance of solid waste management and existing scenario of the same in Hyderabad. Also the course discusses the ways in which GHMC collects, transports, processes and disposes the garbage and also the effects of improper garbage disposalSource segregation is a critical and most important step for proper waste management. The course emphasizes the importance of source segregation and the benefits of segregating the recyclable waste, which is otherwise disposed to the landfill and this course helps the citizens to move towards Swachhata.
