Four suspects were arrested in connection with Araku MLA Kidari Sarveshwara Rao and former MLA Siveri Soma murder case. The police arrested Shobhan, Subbarao, Eshwari and Korra Kamala though these four didn’t participate in the killings of the Kidari and Siveri. The arrested persons have admitted that they informed Maoists about the minute-by-minute whereabouts of the MLA and former MLA.
Police said the murders had taken place with pucca information. They said the four were informed Maoists about the Grama Darshini program in Sarrai village. Following the information, the Maoists kept a vigil on Livitipattu village and killed MLA and former MLA as pre-planned. SIT official Fakirappa said Maoists killed MLA and former MLA only to show their presence in the area.
