State Health Minister Etela Rajender today asked the doctors and Para Medical Staff of the health department to be on alert in the wake of increase in the number of Covid 19 positive cases in the state. He made these remarks during a video conference with the DMHOs of all the districts of the State .
Speaking on the occasion he said that Aasha workers and doctors of primary health Centers of the state should play an important role in the identification of patients with Covid virus symptoms and conduct of the tests. He also asked them to counsel all the Covid 19 virus patients to opt for home isolation till they get rid off the virus. He further asked them to take steps for keeping the stocks of medicine and oxygen cylinders required by the Covid patients.
He asked them to coordinate with local village panchayat and municipal officials in the issue of handing over of the dead bodies of the Covid 19 patients to their family members.
