The aviation sector in India is showing promising growth. India has become among the top three nations globally regarding domestic and international air passenger traffic. Indian Aviation industry is expected to witness 35000 Cr investment in the next four years. UDAN (Ude Desh ka Aam Naagrik) scheme has broadened career avenues in the aviation sector. It is a regional airport development and Regional Connectivity Scheme (RCS) of the Government of India, with the objective of “Letting the common citizen of the country fly” to make air travel affordable and widespread. India’s air traffic is gradually increasing; it is expected to handle one billion trips in 2023. This growth has perpetuated new career trends in the aviation sector.
