We are happy to hear that the long-awaited judgement in our Ruler Deity Lord Shri Padmanabha Swamy Temple case is now listed for delivery of Judgement on July 13 by Supreme Court i.e tomorrow at 10:30am.
Temples Protection Movement, TPM had addressed a letter to His Excellency President on 28th June expressing anguish at the inordinate delay in the Delivery of Justice. The letter ended with the request to the Crores of devotees to pray and Chant OM VASHAT KARAYA NAMAHA for the speedy delivery of Justice in Lord Padmanabha Swamy Temple issue.
The Supreme Court will pronounce the judgment in the case relating to Padmanabha Swamy Temple administration dispute tomorrow. The bench comprising Justice Uday Umesh Lalit and Indu Malhotra had finally heard the appeals in April, last year.

The Court is also expected to rule on the rights of the erstwhile royal family of Travancore on temple, feasibility of forming a devaswom board and opening of the Kallara (vault) B of the temple.
The appeals challenged a 2011 Kerala High Court judgment which directed the Government to take over control of the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple, it’s assets and management. The High Court bench comprising of Justices C.N. Ramachandran Nair and K. Surendra Mohan also directed the Government to open all Kallaras, make inventory of the entire articles and create a Museum and exhibit all the treasures of the Temple for the public, devotees and the tourists to view the same which could be arranged on payment basis in the Temple premises itself.
Against this judgment, the members of the erstwhile royal family approached the Supreme Court in appeal. Senior advocate Gopal Subramanian was appointed as amicus curiae in the matter. Former CAG Vinod Rai was also appointed to audit the records including expenditures incurred for temple’s upkeep. Senior advocate Gopal Subramanian had submitted his report in the matter.
