Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has been developing Telangana state like Mahatma on the ideals of Gandhi.
This was stated by Minister E Dayakar Rao after paying floral tributes to Gandhiji to mark his death anniversary at Warangal.
True to ideals and dreams of Gandhi, KCR Government is implementing several schemes to make the state, a golden Telangana, the minister said. KCR is following Gandhi ideals of welfare and development as part of Grama Swarajya, he noted.
The minister offered floral tributes at a Gandhi photo in the district. He recalled the services and sacrifices by Gandhi for the country.
Every tribal village with 500 people is made a, grama panchayat by KCR government he claimed. Huge funds are being offered to the villages getting facelift with facilities. Roads, Power, Water supply, Funds for Drainage, Dump Yards, Vaikuntha Dhamas, the Minister said.
He also said that Palle Pragati, Haritha Haram are pushing development in the villages like never before. Every village Panchayat gets Rs 5 lakh for development and, arsenal 309 crore being offered a year for the same, he said. Thus he said that KCR is working like Mahatma for people welfare, Dayakar Rao added.
