Corona treatment not costly: Etela

The Health Minister Etela Rajender today visited Telangana Institute of Medical  Sciences (TIMS)  Hospital is fully equipped with apparatus,  staff,  labs, and medicines to treat corona patients.  The corona treatment is not costly as it needs only around, Rs, 10000 he said after visiting TIMS Hospital in Gachchibowli here. 
The Minister appealed to avoid private hospitals and get treatment instead in the government  Hospitals.  The Minister has warned of serious action on the private hospitals looting people and college ting Rs 1 lakh and more everyday.  There is no need of fear to Corona as it is not deadly and only those with diseases are losing lives,  he maintained.  Gandhi,  Chest,  King Koti  Osmania hospitals are offering corona treatments to people he remarked. 
From rural, district and city state level we have set up 1100  health centers offering Corona tests in Telangana. 
Rajender inspected the facilities at TIMS and also visited the pharmacy to check out the latest position of availability of stocks of the anti-viral Covid-19 drugs.
A few patients have informed of getting better treatment he claimed. Rajender said that the government follows ICMR guidelines on Corona testing and offer treatment.  Using Hitham application,  we upload details of Corona patients in the state,  the minister said.. 
The government will help those in home isolation and others with serious symptoms will be treated in hospitals Rajender said.  He said that while 81  percent people without symptoms get positive,  19 percent with symptoms will get it.  The state government has improved facilities in all districts for people to get treatment for Corona he said. 
While 14 percent people need ventilation services five percent not  and we offer all tests free of cost. TIMS has 1350 beds, oxygen facility and others.  Steps being taken to offer liquid oxygen in the city and oxygen in Warangal he, added.
