Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Open University (BRAOU), Prof.G.Ram Reddy Centre for Research and Development organized a three day workshop on “Academic Research and Research Support” on May 16 to 18, 2023 at the University Campus. Prof.V.Venkaiah, Former Vice-Chancellor, Krishna University, Andhra Pradesh and Former Rector, Dr.BRAOU, Hyderabad was the chief guest for the Valedictory function. Prof. Venkaiah said that researchers should constantly study and examine the latest discoveries coming from all over the world.
He said, if the researchers do not have sincerity and desire to explore, it is not possible to discover new things and invent things that are useful to the society. He also said that even if one completes the research and gets a Ph.D without the quality of the research papers, the research paper will not have any value. He suggested that research students and teachers should work in this direction as research papers will have more value only when they are published in international journals.
Prof.E.Sudha Rani, Director GRCR&D, presented a detailed reported of three day workshop will be useful for research students and teachers. She explained the need and necessity of organizing this workshop. It has been revealed that many social science teachers will participate in this three-day workshop and guide the research students. All Directors, Deans, Heads of the Branches, Research Scholars & Students are participated in the program.
