Congress & TRS workers clash at Revanth’s house

The ruling TRS and opposition Congress party workers clashed with each other at TPCC president A. Revanth Reddy’s house. They also raised slogans against each other. The incident took place when a couple of TRS party activists tried to burn the effigy of Revanth at his residence in Jubilee Hills condemning the comments of the TPCC president against state industries Minister KTR.

However, the Congress party activists present at the TPCC president’s residence stopped the TRS workers from burning it. The Jubilee hills  police which reached the spot dispersed the workers of the two parties and brought the situation under control. The police have also set up a police picket at the residence of Revanth to avoid any kind of violent incident .

Revanth Reddy has thrown a challenge called white challenge at KTR and asked him to accept it in order to prevent the usage of banned drugs in the state. He also visited Gunpark and waited for KTR for some time to see if the latter would accept his challenge. However KTR did not turn up at the Gunpark.

Instead, he filed a defamation case against Revanth Reddy alleging that the comments made by Revanth viz-a-viz drugs case defamed his image in the society.
