The Congress party has increased its speed on Maha Kootami seats adjustment process. The party has appointed a committee comprising K Jana Reddy, G Chinna Reddy, Ponnam Prabhakar, Dr Vinay Kumar, in its Core Committee meeting held at a private hotel.
It is learnt that the Congress leaders feel that the Kootami will be benefited if TJS Chief Kodandaram only participated in election campaign instead of contesting the ensuing elections. The Congress leaders have also expressed their opinion that it was good if the TJS leaders contested the elections on the symbol of the Congress party. They said that the people may be confused with the new symbol if contested TJS leaders on their own party symbol. The Congress party also took a decision that they will give Deputy Chief Minister rank position to Kodandaram if the Kootami comes to power.
